  1. Thanks for the feedback on the headliner! My Wife gave me a hand getting the main piece in place and feedback on what seemed to look right. We thought it looked ok, but not sure how "correct" it was. I need to find someone to cover the sun visors so I can get them installed.
  2. LOL! That's what we think here in PA where we drive through salt-slush for 3 months a year.
  3. Here are a few more pics. The guy I bought it from had purchased a replacement headliner in 2001, but never installed it. That was one of my first projects, not sure if I got it right, but it looks better then not having one at all. He also gave me a replacement windshield, another steering box and column and 3 plastic tubs of misc parts. DW
  4. LOL, I am such a noob to not give any details LOL! It is a Flat head 6 with a 3 speed trans. I am told that it was originally the same engine, but this is not THE original engine. I looked up the casting number on the block (starts with T116) and from what I can tell the engine is from a 40-ish truck. According to the gentleman I bought it from it lived in Southern California until 2001 when he brought in to Pennsylvania. He claimed it hadn't seen rain in 13 years. Given the fact that he only put 1000 miles on it since 2001 I can believe it. I was looking for a solid truck (rust free) to be able to work on as well as drive and enjoy. DW
  5. Hi Everyone! My name is Dave and I am the proud new owner of a 1957 Dodge D100 pickup. This is my first 'old truck' and I feel like I found a really nice one. Hopefully a 57 D100 fits in with the rest of the member vehicles here :-)
