  1. The Dakota works very well, but if your wanting an s10 frame than I'd get on YouTube and type in Eastwood pile house. Eastwood is building a 1950 truck on a s10 frame. Lot of cool stuff and they show a lot.
  2. I don't know if you would consider it , but protronix has a electronic ignition conversion for the flat6. It is $90 or so. It is clean and all fits under the cap.
  3. Putting the Dakota front under your truck, but saving the original back half keeps the bed useful. The frames line up great
  4. I hauled my B3G 2 1/2 hours home with my half ton 4x4. It was scary to say the least. It was the 152 wheel base and it took up the whole 18 foot trailer.
  5. I've got a Dakota front under mine with a dodge full size rear end. The full size works well in the rear. Dakota or jeep also works, but is kinda narrow. S-10's are too small.
