  8. Keith, Napa might have the replacement shoes or you can check out C H Topping in Long Beach, They can reline the shoes, Arc the new shoes to the drums and turn the drums if needed. I have heard GREAT things about them and they are local. Rod
  9. Bought a Gallon of Gloss Black Rustoleum, Had the two 12 year old nephews scrape, prime and paint the entire frame of our MG. That was 15 yeas ago, These Little British Cars leak ( mark their spots) so much oil, no chance for rust to form. I have see some bad results years after the awards are won. Cheers, Rod

Local ( within AAA tow ) Sunday is still reserved and open, I don't take many Sunday's off from being away from my bride so I keep um to a minimum a make um special .
  12. Hey Tony, I was happy to give you a hand and help out where I could. In my 45+ years of driving and fixing machines I have been helped by many people also. I am just paying back and forward. When the Head Gasket blew on my truck, Hank B3B jumped in and started wrenching with me. I just hope we got all the air out of the system and you have good brakes again, See ya on the road some where some time soon, Rod

  15. Hey Josh, Yes the Mopar Spring Fling is a Great Show and Swap Meet, I try and go to both the spring and fall flings for parts. There are FEW Mopar/Dodge shows but I check out all the auto swap meets I can find,Never know what you might find. I use to live in Encino/Reseda area ( White oak & Oxnard ) in the 80's . 20. That is GREAT NEWS ! His efforts have paid off big time. Hope he takes lots of pictures for the stories he WILL tell ,once his truck is back on the road . He can enjoy the satisfaction of knowing he has his hands on every part of his ride. When he is @ a swap meet he can tell what parts go in & on his truck, not everybody can. Congrats !
  21. Tony, I agree, The slow lane and the back roads are the best way to cruise . I just need to remember to give myself time to throw out the anchor while I'm downshifting and pumping the brakes. Don't get me wrong I love driving my beast, Every time she comes back from an adventure under her own power and with out a ticket Is a GREAT DAY !
  22. Great Photo Tony, I think it's great that you drive the tires off your ride.
  23. Any puddles of brake fluid under any of the tires or near any hoses or master cylinder? Do the brakes pump up ? When was the last time you rebuilt the system ? Did you check out the manual ?
