  1. I really have no way of knowing if it is a 218 or a 230? What does the roman numeral 1 mean? Its all so mysterious.
  2. Hey there, Ive been lurking in the shadows for some time now. Probably introduced myself about a year ago. Since then Ive used the site for a lot of great reference. I was hoping someone could decode my block for me. The engine stamp is (Diamond)P25(Star)4075 i5(Star). I also just busted a lower front shock stud so some advice in that arena would be great as well. Hope you chaps are getting on in a delightful fashion. Thanks in advance. Mike
  3. As much as I am in love with my three on the tree, I long for a floor shifter. I'm aware of the pricey T-5 swaps. I love my flatty and intend to keep it. Locally, there is a man selling/parting out a 1946 dodge panel van. He has the original motor and trans pulled and swapped in a 454. Could I swap in the trans from his van to my flatty? I suppose getting his motor and trans to drop in is an option, but like I said... I love my motor. Also, I'm having trouble finding any info as to which flathead was in the 46' panel vans. Any help would be appreciated. As an incentive, if I get some good answers ill post new picture.
  4. Okay gentlemen, I'm trying to put together a little bit of rim dress up together for my 1951 Concord. I've been looking on hubcapmike.com and I've found the appropriate trim rings. However, does anyone know what size baby moons I should order? Perhaps where I could find some...
  5. Well, I'm the third owner, 43,xxx miles. Three on the tree original 218. I have a santay visor that seems to have been on the car since the fifties..it's original green color is faded to the blue you see in the pictures.I'll add more pictures when I figure out how to make an album.
  6. Hey folks! I've been around checking this forum out since I picked my car up in November. Just signed up so I could share my findings and holler at the mean old men...kidding. Anyhow, I'm Mike. This is my '51 Club Coupe. I'm redoing the dash and interior this winter. Dressing up and painting the wheels and wrapping em up in new rubber come spring. She runs and she's fun. Cheers.
  7. Well aren't you a funny guy. Thank the gods there are still beauties like that still around.
  8. How do I upload pictures of my sweet ride?

  9. Love the burgundy beast you had going. I'm totally stealing the gold tooth idea.
