Hi, maybe you saw my post about sales filmstrips. I have some sales strips from 49 and 50 covering the Plymouth and the DeSoto. I've had them since the early 80s when I got them at a San Diego swap meet. I don't have the records. I'm in the process of trying to digitize the filmstrips so that other collectors can see these rare films. It would great if I could find the records too. Do you have any of the records from those years of sales filmstrips on DeSoto or Plymouth? Thanks, Marc.

I don't have any 1949-50 Plymouth or DeSoto record and film sets...I do have plenty of 1950-53 Chrysler ones though and all the 1947-60 Service film and record sets.
Also 4 filmstrips on late 30's Mopars.. no records though.

That would be great to see those late 30s filmstrips digitized. They must be ultra rare! I'd like to see them even if it's silent. There is a comparison filmstrip showing the 50 Chrysler New Yorker vs. the Buick Roadmaster on Youtube that I find fascinating. I wonder if there is any Mopar vault or library that has all of these AV materials? You probably have some of the special Mopar tools made by Miller in your garage as I do. What's your opinion of loaning them out to someone on the forum? I know there was a guy who used to do that until he got burned. There's a guy in Los Angeles who wants to borrow my upper and lower control arm tools. Marc.

Also, just wanted to let you know that I have a little more faith in my storage ability. I was looking around my garage for filmstrips and I looked in a box and found the missing C-clamps with all the bolts and nuts for my 48 DeSoto 3 window coupe! I knew there was at least a 50-50 chance that would happen eventually. But I don't mind having a spare set of such an impossible to find part. Marc.

Do you have the C-clamps for my 48 DeSoto? Do you have any pics of them? Thanks, Marc.
