  1. A little different front end. Different grill, bumpers, rear window, hood. It is a club coupe.
  2. Cant wait to see how it turns out. Here is my budget beater.
  3. http://www.oldmoparts.com/ Has everything you will need
  4. If it were me, I would start replacing the cloth wire on the car one by one. I had the same problem with mine, and ignored all the comments about the old wires. Long story short, my VR burnt up after i rebuilt my generator, then all the cloth wire started on fire and the whole engine compartment went up. Those old wires corrode very easily, and at least on mine, most of my ground wires were non existant. i can see in your picture, you have some exposed wiring. This will cause a loss in amps.
  5. Yeah, ive had the ford for about since i was 14. She will start back up as soon as im done with this one.
  6. I orderd them from www.automotiveinteriors.com and then did the foam and a few other things to the seats. You cant beat the way they turned out for the price.
  7. I think shes turning out sweet. Best part of the whole deal is that i did not see one 50 Chrysler at any shows this year. I cant wait to park next to a 55-57 Chevy, camaro or vette.
  8. Thanks guys. I got them installed this weekend.
  9. Does anyone have a picture of your window regulator retaner clips for a 1950 chrysler. Ive seemed to have misplaced all mine when I removed the windows for paint, and i need to try and find some replacements around town. Thanks,
  10. PLanning to re-tighten the bolts tonight. Ran her for about an hour on sunday with a little driving. im sure they could use a few more pounds on them. The book says to tighten them to 80-85 pounds. Anyone have any other suggestions?
  11. Good news, it was just a head gasket. I took her apart, cleaned it up and measured for flatness. Everything looked great. While she was apart I gave her a fresh coat of paint and then put it back together. She runs better than ever now. Now all i have to do is clean up my wiring job, install the interior and get to an alignment shop asap. she drives like complete @#%$ since i lowered it. PICS to come soon. Thanks for all the help.
  12. Thanks for the replys. Ill get that head off this weekend and see the damage. I guess in the long run this will help with my ongoing battle with deciding to build the Flatty or drop a 318 in her. One step forward and two steps back. I just got the new WWWs on her and the interior was going in next week.
