  1. Claybill, I have my power brake master cylinder and booster under my floor board in my 50 Plymouth. I don't remember the name of the maker, I will try to find it for you if you are interested. It comes with a new pedal and all, a bit pricy, but I thought it was worth it. Tony C
  2. Hi Al, I put a 360 in my 50 Plymouth coupe, I moved the firewall back about 4 inches, mainly cause I wanted to put an AC unit in it also. You can put it in without moving the firewall if you put the radiator in front of the core support. I reccomend using Plydo's motor mounts, makes it a lot easier, they have the off set ones if you want to keep you stock steering. Tony C
  3. Thanks Jim I couldn't have said it any better. Tony C
  4. My hat is off to the guys that have the skills, and patience to do a frame off. As for me there is no way that I would even start to do one. Tony C

  6. Well, When I was 17 my job after school was to baby sit my nephew 4 yrs old and niece 3 yrs old. I took those kids every where, they rode in the back seat, and all most every time I stopped they landed on the floor, we all laughed as they would climb up on the seat till the next stop. Tony C
  7. About a month ago, I was filling up my coupe with gas and a guy came up to me and asked if I wanted to sell it. I told him that every thing had a price. He told me a friend of his was lookung for a 50 bizzy coupe, and would pay me whay ever I wanted for it. He suggested 25 grand and I told him I would sell it for that, he said that he would call me, I am still waiting. Tony C
  8. No Don, the 33 PD was the first 6 cylinder. Tony C
  9. Hi Dave, I am sure that it is out of a 33 Plymouth, I had one, it was a PD coupe. Tod Fitch will know for sure if that was the only year for the PD engine or not. Nice coupe, I am a little bias as I have one also. Tony C

  14. Steve McQueen was a great guy, raced motorcycles. A buddy met him at the old Indian Dunes moto cross track, way back when, and Dave said he was a real down to earth guy. Tony C
  15. Well Uncle, don't feel bad I had a similar thing happen to me, thinking that the guy I was talking to on thephone was a good guy. I bought a 51 club coupe from a guy in Maine that was selling it for his friends widow. The only rust that he could see was a little around the trunk handle, it is hard to believe that he missed the BIG hole in the inner fender well, under the battery, seeing how he chipped in a new battery with the purchase. The frame was so rusted that I wouldn't drive. I don't think I should mention his name here, but if you want it PM me and I will give it to you. I paid $5000 for the car and $1200 for shipping it to California, sold it on ebay for $1200, and was happy to get rid of it. Tony C
  16. Would that be the Paul Curtis of the POC, he had a 63 Fury at the 2002 Maryland national, that had like 16000 original miles on it. It was for sale at the time. Tony C
  17. Coming out of Michigan, it is probably rusted out real bad. I would be real carefull about this one. Tony C

  19. Hi Guys, A buddy of mine is going to purchase some P15 brake drums, what is the going price for brake drums now. My guess would be about 20 bucks a piece, what do you guys think? Tony C

  22. Michael, Have you tried G & G Mopars Yet? They have just about everything, I can't remember their number but it is in the links. Maybe 909 825 1231. Tony C
  23. I talked to a guy with a 1956 Ford truck that got slammed on the right rear, fender and wheel. He was insured with Haggerty, he told them that he wanted to fix it himself, amd they said fine keep track of your hours and they paid him I think it was $20 an hour for his labor. I think they are a great vintage car insurance company. When iI had my El Camino and the 50 Plymouth it cost me 250 a year for both cars. I called them before I went on hot rod magazines power tour, and they told me no problem that I was going about 6000 miles, that was okay. Tony C
  24. I do believe that my garageis a living thing, and it swallows things. I am praying that it won't grow teeth. Tony C
  25. Michael, Try G & G MOpars, they are on the links section. You have to call them, they don't have a web site. Ask for Bob or Ernie. Tony C
