  2. I just finished repairing the floorboards on my 41 Dodge conv and need new mats. the originals were carpet but i think i will try to replace with rubber . there are moldable rubber mats and moldable carpet on the net - google either one. So far i've not contacted any supplier but will get around to it soon. Has anyone had experence with moldable mats?

  5. the original part number for the division bar for all 41 dodges except the convertable is 893059 and the convertable is 893407 the rubber strip for mounting is 935753
  6. A 1941 Dodge pickup is included in an estate sale on June 9 in Rutherfordton NC. Take a look at goldenmemoriesauctions.com
  7. There were only 3,554 41 Dodge Convertibles like mine made, and body parts are hard to find because for some reason they are different from sedans and coups. For example, the front bracket for running boards is the same as sedans but the back bracket has no match. Auto Book Center in Fl has an interchangeable Parts book that i have found useful. 941-505-7675
  8. These guys did me the favor of responding to my plea for help identifying parts. I took my 41 Dodge apart 10 years ago and when I recently got around to putting it back on the road there were a few parts on the storage table that I couldn't ID. I sent email and a picture of the parts to members that appeared to have a 41. These great guys responded. The really noteworthy thing is where they lived. Canada, France, and the USA. This is a great group to be associated with! Thanks, George Comparetto
  9. the official name for this part on a 1941 Dodge was a sway eliminator. Andy Bernbaumhas the links and bushings for the 39 Plymouth listed in his catalog. The bar should be relativly cheap to have made
