  1. Thanks billrigsby. Awesome pics. They will definitely help. Now to find the maintenance information for them.
  2. Dodgeb4ya thanks for the info. Mine looks like the AA or AAN, but made by Arrow Gear Company if Dave72dt recognized it correctly as I think he did. Any idea where to start looking for info on them?
  3. Awesome Dave72dt. Does anyone have a tag similar to it that is more complete so I could have a new more readable one made? Jim Roach it’s cool in a way. As a truck driver I’ve been through there a few times. Never had time to stop unfortunately.
  4. Anyone have any info on the pros that were mated to the mid-1940s dodge 4 speed transmissions? Have a 42 WC chassis and driveline with a 46 cab and custom bed. Need some info for the PTO bc the tag is worn. Will include pic. Maybe someone can translate what’s missing? Would like all info anyone can give. Thanks.
  5. Is there any easy way to copy it to that side? Or do I have to completely repost it? Also it didn’t let me chose what side it posted to when I first posted so how do I know where it’s posting?
  6. My 1942 chassis and drive line with 1946 fire cab truck has this PTO tag. Can anyone tell me who made the PTO, or has a comparable tag? Would like to know some of o on it: specifically how much it’s capable of, what type of oil it needs, it’s hooked to a large winch on the back and is married to a 1940s 4 speed truck.
  7. I have a 1942 flathead six that I am trying to leave 6v bc most of the wiring is still there on my 3/4 ton weapon carrier chassis. I had the starter rebuilt, but does anyone happen to have a booklet or information on how many cranking amps the original batteries had? I have it hooked to a 6v battery but I think the amps of this battery may have destroyed the armature before the starter was rebuilt and don’t wanna have that happen again. Thanks In Advance
