  1. So, I can use the 51 fenders, 48 inner fenders and brackets, 48 hood and front
  2. All, with your help we now know that a 48 1/2 ton and a 51 1 ton cab are interchangeable. NEXT QUESTION What about the front fenders and hood? are they the same
  3. Are the cabs the same size for a 1/2 ton the one ton.
  4. Do you think that a 51 would fit? I have the all of the sheet metal, hood, fenders, bumper etc on the 48 right now.
  5. I have a 1948 1/2 ton Dodge. The cab has several rotten spots, am debating to fix them or try and find another cab. What years are the same as a 48? 49, 50, 51, etc. Also is there anyone who makes replacement panels.

  8. I am in dire need of a set front fenders and the brackets for a 1948 1/2 ton. Mine are really rough. I am in the St. Louis area. Also, not a new member just changed my screen name.
  9. I leave my on and ready to go all of the time. Although I have a switch for the power, which I keep off. Just make sure the e brake is working.
  10. Fuel lines, I was alway taught to use a metal line in and around exhaust pipes and manifolds.

  12. Is there a specific year of jeep to look for for the rear end? With 4 wheel disc will the single master cylinder handle them?
  13. Well the cars are done and now its time for the truck. Am running a big block flathead with George Asche goodies. Here are a couple of questions 1. I want to update the rear end, what newer model will fit using the existing spring brackets on the frame 2. Current Front end, I want to convert to Disc brakes, who has the best set up 3. Master Cylinder, who makes a dual set up PS Believe it or not, this isn't my first post
