  1. Does anyone know what the engine numbers PT8*428*** would be? I know PT81 are 1939 Plymouth truck engines, but just PT8???? Are those engines rare for Plymouth trucks? Thanks in advance

  3. I found a 54 Desoto with a 3.55 rear. The engine was a Firedome. Im gunna get the entire rear just incase my axles dont match up to the gears in the 3.55.
  4. Im looking for a rear end that I can put in my Plymouth that will hook up to my torque tube. I know about using a 8 3/4 rear end out of late 60s B body mopar, but I wanna keep the original look. Was there a better mopar rear end made in the 50s that I can put in my 53 Plymouth??? Come on guys....lets figure this out.
  5. In the movie "Walk the Line", you know the Johnny Cash movie, they are driving a 1953 Plymouth Belvedere. Funny thing is you see it throughout the first part of the movie.
  6. if you think that expensive you should see what the alum. heads made by Fenton, Sharp and Edmunds go for. I think a Fenton head for a 218/230 sold for $2000, Sharp head sold for about $2800 and very recently a Edmunds head sold for $2500. Im lucky I got my Fenton for $300!!! Plus my Edmunds intake cost me $300 and came with two Strombergs and homemade dual exhaust. Here are some photos of the stuff I have for my flathead Im rebuilding. Mallory Distributor Fenton Alum Head Edmunds Dual Intake with two single barrel Strombergs Home made dual exhaust
  7. This 53 Ply Belvedere custom was built by George Barris is 1957. Its chopped, sectioned, has a custom grill, etc etc. The car vanished after the original owner sold it in 1962 to a guy in East LA, CA. If anyone knows any information please contact me ASAP. Thanks Mikey
