  1. If yours still has the foot starter pedal the contact mounted on the starter may have gotten corroded and is not making good contact.
  2. Do you mean like this ?
  3. Oops....I did that once.....only once though.
  4. If I had an outdoor lift I would have steam cleaned mine but I don't,so I didn't.
  5. Here's what the inside of my 33 Plymouth looked like when I dropped the pan to remove the layer of sludge in it. Too many nooks and crannies to clean by hand so I just cleaned out the pan and pick up screen and buttoned it back up and will only use non-detergent oil now so this crap doesn't let loose.
  6. You would be bored......they are all Silver. I did do this to one of my 23" 230's just to mess with lookers.
  7. I painted the engine in my first flat 6 mopar John Deer Green. No photos cause it was back in 1966.
  8. Show him yours Don C.
  9. The original engine color is silver.
  10. There is not.
  11. That looks like a similar growth you will find on the contact points after a long rest.
  12. I've owned 3 of the military versions over the years. I kept the running engine out of the one without a cab before trading it for an R10 overdrive.
  13. Here's the only photo I have of the rack I made for my 56 1 ton.

  15. Would this 3 speed work ?
  16. There is this guide too but I prefer the Old Car price guide too. http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/Manufacturers
  17. For a 42 Dodge coupe anyway both the club coupe and the bidness coupe have a 119.5" wheel base.
  18. Dodgeb4ya nailed it then eh ? Good news !
  19. Wow, they sure made many different models. I just looked through my 31 1 bbls and none of them are E7's
  20. My 230 engine has instant throttle response even when cold. Sounds like your leather accelerator plunger is dried out. if you pull it out and soak it over night in some oil it might swell back up again and work properly.
  21. If the stamped engine number has been removed you can determine if the engine is a 218 or 230 by removing the small pipe plug over #6 cylinder and measuring the stroke with a piece of wire. 218 = 4.375" and 230 = 4.625"
  22. Welcome ! Your 58 is not a Pilot-House truck. It's a Power-Giant Era truck 1957-1960. The 315 was offered in the 57 and 58 models and was rated at 205 hp with the 2 bbl carb. From looking at your front wheels your truck is a 1 ton model.
  23. Same here.
  24. survey said...............YES
