I will buy it in a heart beat! but I am in California, unless there is a free delivery involve I don't see it happening. Question: Does anybody have a picture of the steering box in a 53 plymouth and/or dodge? I wonder if that would be a good donor for my car?

You are correct!, It sucks not to have the grill. they bought this car for the grill and whitewalls and then they were going to send it to the crusher! I decided to buy it from them and due a reverse idea. (I know I'm a little crazy!) anyways I wanted to get parts from all others that pray on the desotos and other mopars for parts(like the Hemi engines) and called this car "a sweet revenge!" that is why it use to have a buick grill, a merc rear lights (never installed) 53 chevy belair trim, ford seats, etc, etc, etc...but I am over it right now, now I just want it semi decent to get moving.... MKSTR!

YEAH thanks for that picture! That is it!, I friend of mine had it done for his car, thne it got parted for the Hemi but OOOH well it ended up in my hands for $10 bucks! MKSTR!

I forgot I know it's a mopar, and it has been shorten to fit like a floating bar, it is not completly in there, I just wanted to fit them in take some picks, and then send it to the chrome shop. here is the picture of the head trim. off a 1954 Desoto.

Here is the lates picture of my 1953 desoto. You can post It won't hurt my feelings I have always being an odd ball, isn't it the Mopar way? ARRG I will get better pictures tomorrow! MKSTR!

You are right, there was plenty of Non-Butchered cars out there, It seemed as you could have spent the day looking at what you where into. Iam into all of the above but I went everywhere! I recommend the show to people out side L.A. Riv. and SBDO. Counties. It was quite a turn out, I just heard they were turning down people at the door at around noon. MKSTR!

Those pictures are great Norm! I had a blast, spent lots of time on the 1/8 mile drag race, (not driving) It was quite a showdown. Enjoyed talking about it even more! MOONEYES 2007 I can't wait. MKSTR!

It seems like a nice ride a coupe is hard to find, I agree wit hyou it will be very hard to get that kind of money. but if he can find a buyer, I will be able to sell my little hoopty for more! MKSTR!

I'd like to try an uncut pair of 1940 to 52 coils, so if anyone has subframed their 40-52 Plym and wants to part with the old coils, give me a shout. If anyone is thinking of cutting the coils on their 40-52, we could swap. Local pickup good, these would be heavy for shipping. Normspeed I have my 53 Desoto, and I was thinking about dropping the fron t end, comeby take a look at them I think they might work out whatcha think?

I just removed a set of 2 inch blocks, they are used in good condition, , They come with the U-bolts and nuts, BTW I am just offering them to some one that might want them, we can talk about price later, sorry I did not mean to highjack the tread... PM me if interested. MKSTR!
