You betcha, I will get it going this weekend and let you all now what it looks like with some pics and details! mackster:cool:
Oldaddy is from this website and I think He just got his website up and running, he is working on several new things one I heard of is an adapter to mate a chevy or ford tranny to a flat head mopar. SO you can have your powerglide and still be cool!
Thanks greg I will look into it, I just hate to resize them to a miniature thumbnail just to post them and looking at everyone else's great pictures. I want to do the same. dial up users may be really unhappy with them....
so you upload them first and that is how you guys are able to post this gigantic pictures? brilliant! (that's from the beer commercial, if you have seen it it may be a little funny, or you can just trust me it cracks me up all day long.
I just got my splitted manifold from OLDADDY and it looks sweet! I am putting it in this weekend and still working on the carb set up as I don't have a bsecond carb and I still need the linkage but it's moving along I want to get some glasspacks I thought a 30 in. will do just fine!
MAKSTER!
I saw an irrigation pump being towed on the freeway near by my house and they had a single side draft carb and a turbo or possible a supercharger unit mounted to it. I never heard it run or was able to ask the owner any questions because when I flagged him down and ask him to pull over he got scared and sped away....He even trick me out of a way to follow him by swerving out of the freeway at the last second. But next time I have it all planned out I will be wearing a ski mask to make sure he does not see my face. Anyways it looked like a 230 C.I. and a pertronix ingnition set up.
Mackstr!
anything t omake your car stand out from the norm (no pun intended!) is a must in my point of view, specially if you can keep it in the family (mopar family) then I say go for it! I like it and when you go to shows people will be like wow where did you buy that? and you can tell them you MADE IT!
post some clippings of the book it sounds like a great book, I lurk in that forum as well....HE HE HE.. Im a tri-timing no good man. they say I'm a cheater and a liar but I only lied about cheating! HA HA HA!
I remember that! it was some sort of picture gift from the girls at the car show and Normspeed was the punishment to those girls for not selling enough wings!!!!!
