  4. i like your idea...mine is cracked and one letter is missing completly. my idea was to get the letters out and paint them with a few coats of plastic paint and see if they looked better. but since i just got this 52 one..I think i will run it for a while... Great Idea though Tim...im wondering if i could do something similar in the future.
  5. I just made the cut! im 35 and happy to be in the younger group in this one! im usually the older guy in all my concerts and shows.. .
  6. gotcha! they do interchange though right? i think i will run the 52 metal only one for a bit until i bump into a good 51 plastic one... man sucks that it wont light up huh Tim?
  7. i have seen many lighted Hood emblems...on my plymouth there seems to be the letters plymouth in the hood lip....They look as if they would light up...ofcourse mine are pitted and in badshape. so i found one on epay and it came in today. it looks exactly the same but this one has the regular letters and so it got me thinking if they do light up?????
  8. nice to make the rounds at this time of the year, most of us slow down on the projects...and a lil visit can get ya right back on it! (weather permitting)

congratulations on your new car1 the hAMB is a righteous place! she will be in the road in no time! i think what you were trying to convey is that the brakes dont drag and all the wheels turn freely...i was thinking of the adjustment tool that I have seen other members use to adjust the brakes...it looks like a wrench that goes around the brakes shoes to make sure you are 100% level all around...some members have had great luck with it...some dont even use it. but i think is worth a shot for you!
  13. thanks fedoragent! it was great to see you today, im thankful you are introducing me to your friends in the car business...it was nice to see the old big girl i got with your car. the seafoam will be all gone soon...it was a fun day and my Desoto will be in the road soon! i just need one thing...MONEY! BTW: it was like a shady alley meeting here. we look left and right and fedoragent ask if I have brought the stuff...
  14. great pics! good story! now it needs the last picture set when the car is all clean and the photoshopped idea of what it will look like!
  15. Im on it Frankie! I still dont know if they will fit 15 or 16 rims and tires...but I hope they fit my current 15 inch rims...
  16. is it here yet??? we need pictures!
  17. i think i have this issue right now as my car runs great in any speed as long as i keep my foot down on the pedal. The moment i put my foot pressed on one spot on the pedal....it begins to spudder...but i can accelerate and coast in any speed no problem! but if i have my foot on the pedal it better be accelarating the car!!!!
  18. i did! I was looking for some last week...thanks to this great forum, i saw them..did very little thinking and bought them.
  19. Thank you tom!!! I wanted this soo much!!!!
