My new garage will be 30X50 feet with 14 ft walls, 4 sky lights and a 20X50 cement apron in front of the doors. My wife is getting ready for my retirement she says now I'll still have a place to go to work each day and stay out of her way.

Went to the Toys 4 Tots car show in Ridgecrest, Ca. and came accross this nice 1942 DeSoto. I never found the owner to talk to him. Had a great time the weather was in the 60's. The rest of the photos from the show will be on hotrodhotline.com later this week.

David, he said that he got all of the rust off the roof. He said that water got under the paint through the cracks in the old paint and that is why the paint was lifting from the roof.

Went by the body shop today to see how the work is going on my 48 Plymouth. The body man said that the roof was covered in rust under the paint.

Don. Here are the judging standards from the POC web site. All I know is when I was going to join the POC so I could join the Golden State Region I was told by the National Membership Chairman "If it's not stock, We don't want you". So I'm not a member. This was after I had changed my broken front seat.

This is the 2 barrel carburetor on my 48. Someone here said that it looked like one off of a Falcon. Sorry for the bad photo but the car is still in the body shop so I cannot get to it for a better shot.
