  1. That’s where I left that truck?
  2. Is this the same nephew that stepped on the running board.
  3. I have always had my concrete crews put in 1/2” re-rod 24” on center. Blocked up so it doesn’t lay on the ground. Just had a garage poured and they used a 3/8” fiberglass rod. Anyone have any experience with this in ground where frost moves things.
  4. Looks like a Willy’s Jeep cab
  5. Sure made me laugh. Then again I own all Cummins diesels and high performance motors.
  6. Never seen a felt pad. I would contact the manufacturer for there advise
  7. Rust is holding together would be my guess. Tap it with a hammer
  8. 2020 or 2024. We changed to every 4 years.
  9. Just a reminder. Luau 2020 is 13 months away?
  10. I have had plumbers put cement under the bases or great stuff (which you need to be careful with for expansion) to help stabilize the base if we have customers that are overweight (I am sure that was not politically correct). It sure helps stabilize the base.
  11. I would highly recommend to replace with a new tub/shower unit, remodeler unit comes in three pieces and you can carry through a standard door. Your old unit is four years old which means the faucet and drain is also that old. Change it with a good quality unit. Go to a plumbing supply house and not your local Menards or Home Depot. You get what you pay for. Be prepared to find the floor near the tub rotten and definitely replace whatever needs to be. I’ve been in business 33 years and would never think of trying to repair or re-color a 40-year-old unit. Foolish. Sorry for my blunt answer but that’s how I talk to my customers, they ask my opinion and they always get the truth
  12. My wood shed was made out of the local high school soccer goal. It was made of 2x2 steel and the grounds keeper called me and asked if I wanted them. I took them and added the cedar boards that I pulled out of a dumpster on a job I was rebuilding after the demo crew did the demo after the house was flooded. I bought the fire hydrant from an auction and repainted it. The cedar stump holding up the eagle floated out of our local mill pond after they drained it for dam repair and city gave it to me. I used to store a windmill head on the side of my shed until I was able to erect the windmill. I missed the look on the side of my garage so my father in law made me it.
  13. Now I am pissed I did not take my semi this year
  14. Should the bottom back piece be tucked under the top back piece
  15. This is one of several buildings I built on my land with all reclaimed wood, door tracks and metal roofing.
  16. I have never seen a wrench like that
  17. When I received mine the ceiling piece was sown together backwards. The lady there was a witch about it and fought me over and over about there’s no way they made a mistake. I think it’s a good product but terrible customer service.
  18. I have radials on my semi. 8.25 x 20. No problem getting them on my original rims
  19. I don’t about Minnesota but here in Wisconsin the weather people can’t get it right the day of, let alone ten days prior
  20. I have said this before, you should have been a writer. Well written!!
  21. Looks great. I bought some cardboard stuff and it all warped with humidity. I would spray a clear coat on the back to help with that issue
  22. I think I may have figured it out. The two wires are needed because the one would be the ground because it’s mounted on the upholstery. Please correct me if I’m wrong
  23. I took our 67 Buick to a car show last night and I realized that what I am calling dome lights in the back seat at knee level don’t work. I took it apart and it has a GE 68 miniature bulb in it. Double contact with two wires running to it. Is this correct? Seems odd to me they would have double contact points. The guy who restored the car did not do the best quality and I’m finding Shortcuts he had cut during the process.
  24. You went through all the work to grind it and prep it just clean the coolant off very well and JB weld it. My dad always said there is two ways to do things. The right way and the wrong way.
  25. My buddy built performance motors for over 40 years and he said NEVER use Bars leak. Although my dad worked for FWD Segrave for 43 years and he said every truck left the shop with two cans of Bars leak in it. Inquiring minds want to know???
