  1. does anyone know how many 49 sd 1st series 4 doors are left in the world thanks:)
  2. hi all try clr! its not real cheap but does a realy good job. the big drawback, it produces a white sediment(possibly calcimum) if you happen to brake the container this stuff is very slippery.
  3. hi, restoring '49 speciad d 1st series. does anyone know of special tools to form ss fender welt , homemade or other. the best i've found is people who brake a couple of strips, then go to plastic. thanks thomas d
  4. hello. I am A new guy. I've been restoring A '49 first series for about 2 years now. I had a local machine shop do a total rebuild on the p-15 engine. when it came back they said add oil, remove spark plugs and crank the engine till the oil pressure built up. I cranked the starter on and off for 2 days. Still no oil and now no starter. does anyone have abetter way to prime the engine thanks thomas d
