NP435 to connect to a 230 ci Dodge

AK 17 posted a topic in Mopar Flathead Truck Forum

Hi Guys, I would like to connect a dodge 230 ci flathead 6 to a transmission NP435. My questions are : - do I need to change my bellhousing ( connected now to a NP402 3 speeds ), or is there an adaptateur that could work from the 402 fixtures to the 435 ones ? - if the option is to use a new bellhousing made for the NP435, will it connect the 230 flathead right away with the same bolts and fixtures ?
