Can this be cleaned or does it have to be replaced.

The brake light staying on is indicative of pressure not releasing. The easiest place to start ids the fluid reservoir. Remove the cap shine a flash light in, there should be two visible hole in the bottom one large Ike a thick pencil lead and a smaller one in front of it.  The small on is the return.  I piece of mechanics wire and a bit of gentle poking around will usually clear it.  If you do this and the brake lights go off you should be good to go. If the brake lights stay on and brakes are still named the you need to consider other faults like lines to the rear of the switch could be closed too.  Switches are available from Napa, and for the 10 bucks extra get the socket wrench to fit.  If you changethe switch and don't touch anything else you should not need to bleed the brakes. Just unsure, remove and replace and reconnect the wires.  Didn't matter which lead goes to which terminal.

  3. Thanks very much ,my rear flex look very good, however the front wheels turn freely, back not so much ? Thanks very much again Darryl
  4. Have good brakes but they are staying pressurized, unhooked brake booster, no help. Could a defective brake light switch be holding fluid pressure on? Front brakes spin freely on hoist, back ones not so much. Any thoughts on my problem?
