  1. It works good with wire to starter. I have yet to install it and wire it in. I bought a new one because mine was rusted. I agree with the previous post that it needs heavy hair wire.
  2. Thank you all for your help. And thank you Dodge for the gasket info, found one on ebay.
  3. You were right, thank you. Found an article on it online.
  4. So it doesn't get continuous power? This is my choke, it goes on the exhaust manifold next to carb.
  5. Hi, I have a 1949 dodge wayfarer with a flathead 6. The car does not have the wire that goes to the automatic choke, it's gone. Does anyone know where that wire ends up? Going from auto choke to ?
  6. Hi, I'm restoring my 1949 dodge wayfarer with the flathead 6. I recently purchased a new automatic choke and my car does not have the wire that goes to it. Does anyone know where the wire to the automatic choke goes? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you for your time!
  7. I have a 1949 dodge wayfarer with the 3 speed fluid drive. I have the manual and it says to put 10w in the fluid drive, but doesn't quite say what goes in the transmission. Another forum said to put 10w engine oil in the fluid drive and 90 gear oil in the transmission and a different post said 10w engine oil in both. I'm trying to figure out what goes in each one? Maybe even the brand of what is best to use? Can't find a definitive answer. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.
