  1. Have a Poulan Woodshark 1850 and it did it's job. Some real hardwood here but it worked magic. Then I didn't use it for a while.... Of course I needed it a while back and the gas just poured out. First I thought it was the primer cap (that was cracked) but after I replaced that I noticed the fuel lines crumbled when you touched it. I guess these lines are also not up to the added stuff in fuels ? So best way is to drain them when you don't use them? John
  2. you have gotto love those dad's ! John
  3. actually I found the topic better than the text. Cruiser Maroon color as the original ? John
  4. Edwin , at 120 Km/h in the Netherlands you should also soon be able to post some pictures showing the back of the car, B&W and costly but you can also see yourself ! Car looks great ! John
  5. Looks real good Bob, the Toyota in the back could need some wax too ! John
  6. front or back? I have been stuglling with getting the rear window mechanism to work. Front window mechanism seems let problematic , more room to work. When trying to put it back did you turn the window? What I remember is that you need to move it in a certain position (I think half way) to get access to it properly (but that was without glass installed , which should not make much difference though). Hope this helps? John
  7. Goed gedaan jochie ! Well done , good to hear you have the car running. Enjoy driving, the thumbs up etc. John
  8. don't think it is too tight. Will have to check how they roll vertically. Thoght that was ok. Maybe the regulator is bent and that will push sideways and thus out of the channel when moving. Was by myself , glasses (horrible things when sweating ) were blurry ! Maybe I have time to look at it with a friend coming weekend. Not much space, I can put my arm in there but when moving around the sharp metal is no fun ! John
  9. Been a while since I have been working on the P15. There is always something else that needs attention, things fall apart around the house , work etc etc. Still had to get the window regulator (rear left) back in but before that I had to put the U profile in at the front to guide the wheel. Got that done, think it will be fine (bolted at the top, parker at the bottom). Very difficult to reach. I did the other side and that seems to stay in the rails nicely (it does squeak a bit). Then put the regulator back in, got the mechanism in and tightned that, the bottom point in the guide aswell (hope you still follow me). Then tried to get the window U-profile in and hook that up to the regulator. Of course all done without seeing what I am doing. The temperature was over 100 so I am basically also floating in the car. I got the stuff in, put E clips on (the old ones are not in great shape) and I thought I had done it. Slowly turned the window up and then the wheels popped out of the guide rails. Not sure but I think the spring in the regulator should keep the wheels in. The only way out would (I assume) be that one side can go up while the other stays at the same position. Maybe I have to grease the regulator more? Any suggestions / tips ? No pictures , sorry. Thanks John
  10. Shel, I hope that is just a bit of rust. John
  11. Dogs are great, no question about loyalty (ever had people working for you?). This is my Doberman "Duvel" , yesterday he was attacked by a pitbull and they want after eachother for a couple of minutes before I could seperate them. The owner , when he finally showed up, was in no hurry at all. Bit of swollen eye and some cuts, nothing that needed stitches (the Doberman not the owner ). Duvel is a real Doberman, very sweet dog but also very protective. Had several Dobermans, tough dogs but very reliable. Got three more, all "westpointers" as we call them here. The "westpointers" are less prone to illness. The 4 of them guard the house and people think twice before jumping the fence. John
  12. I can read that as you now have made it into plain Dutch.... John

  15. Today there was a short drive with the club, new chairman and is was also his birthday. Forgot to bring the camera.... Some additions to the club but no Mopar (so not too bad not bringing the camera). Fun drive, past the new Renaissance hotel , always good for nice pictures (unless you forget your camera , banging head against the dash...) We went home early, had some small things to do. Just driving the car is fun. John
  16. Joe, my advice : don't be funny or start an argument while you are at the mercy of the other person ! John
  17. Don't forget to put a drop of oil in the speedometer aswell. See post : http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=5766&highlight=speedo John
  18. Subject and contents .... Sunday my wife thought I asked for the PeePee Blaster ..... Ok, combined with rusty nuts that funny !
  19. I got the whole set in 2005 from Charlie , 525 $ without S&H and the drill bit (30$). That way I knew I got all the stuff I needed. Work itself is very basic, remove the old stuff. The tricky part is tapping but got that done aswell properlty. Then I had an issue with a spacer, I got the truck one by mistake so that was not working. Charlie made sure I got the right one shipped by mail and then finishing the installation was a breeze. Good service ! I have no issues with the diskbrakes since installed. John
  20. Mine is having the KM's and Celcius gauges Serial 12064873 – Manufactured in Detroit I believe it was delivered straight to Curacao (but have no proof of that). Maybe I will check with the Wabi club members whether they have the metric gauges or not John
