About Me
Grew up through the '50s, '60s and '70s. Married in '82 and still married.. lucky to have met the right woman. Three grown up children who are wonderful young people. Have been to the West Coast of the USA and into Arizona and Nevada, driving a Chrysler Sebring. I have owned 5 direct Chrysler cars: two '54 Plymouths ( Belvedere and Savoy) 3 Chrysler Valiants ( Australian models ) and 5 associated brands: '60 Hillman Minx; '62 Simca Aronde; 3 Mitsubishis of different types. A Peugeot 403 and an Austin A 40 also. So basically a rusted on Chrysler nut.
The Cranbrook is in the process of being restored, in spurts. I worked in China and tinkered with it when I returned home.I am now back in Australia permanently, so the car has come along well as a result It came to Australia over a decade ago but I don't know a lot of its history. The guy I bought it from won it in a card game. As far as I can tell, it is probably the only one of its kind in Australia. Interestingly, it is the same car that you see if you look up "Plymouth Cranbrook" on Wikipedia.
