hey rfurg, i'm having trouble with my three on the tree not down shifting from third to second. 49 ply. i looked at the tranny breakdown on page 204 in the service manual and can't find the pin your talking about. i did find the screw under the operating lever but can't get at it with tranny still in the car. i plan on dropping the tranny soon. but you didn't give any length or width of said pin. do you have anymore info? i talked to northwest transmission and they are stumped, they don't recall this pin .anymore info would really help. thank you in advance, larry
