    Hey guys, thanks for all the advice. Just checked the generator, barely would move the needle when dc volts was set on 10 on volt meter. Going to take it out an let a pro see what they can do for it.

    Plugs are not wet even when pumping gas pedal.

    Not pressing pedal did not work 1/4 and 1/2 pedal did not work eather.

    Gas is entering carb when peddle is pressed.

    Ido have a service manual. Should the plugs be wet if you take one out after you have pumped the gas peddle several times while trying to start it?

    I have a 47 dodge delux. Starts fine when cold, but when it heats up will not restart if you cut it off for a few minuts.
