  1. Last day of vacation burned, but I got the passenger side drip rail fab'd and welded in. Being the back half fo the cab is a B1, the rail is different so I carried that thru to the front as well. Also allows me to get some seam sealer in there when the time comes to keep the rust monsters at bay.

  5. I picked up my muffler at NAPA and when I had the car running on initial start up, I could not believe how quiet it ran even when revving it a wee bit. I will see if I can get an audio clip when I fire it up again after the holidays. The loudest exhaust I had in my young hooligan days was a set of supertrapps on my 68 Mustang fastback's 289. That and AC/DC concerts have probably contributed to the decline in my hearing LOL!

  6. Rock auto sells it in CD format, if your laptop has a CD player. I had to dust off my old laptop to copy it over to a thumb drive. They also sell a hard copy version. But the CD also comes with parts manuals.

  8. Sunday of back to the 50s. Dad's 51 and my 64. Putting the fuel line into the 47. This and the following work after figuring out the gas tank got garden hosed by kids were the major work I got done. And a boring but very exciting one for me personally after jumping through all the states hoops I got titles for my project trucks.

  9. The tape is butyl and the caulk is urethane, not silicone. I've done quite a bit of glass using both. Really not that difficult.
