I was just on the Hershey AACA regions webpage this afternoon to get a status for the Fall October Hershey Event for 2020. As of their current posting and see that attachment, Fall Hershey is still scheduled for October 2020 The Hershey regions webpage is located at Hershey.aaca.com. I suggest that you book mark this webpage so you can stay informed as to the status of the event. We all know that most of the car shows and swap meets have been cancelled because of the C-19 virus. The other day I received a facebook messge from Mike Warsaw Moparpro and he had a question that looked as if it had came from the AACA regarding if the vendors were being asked if they want to have the event or to not have the event. Not sure where mike got this memo. I am going to try to reachout to Mike to get more information I live near Valley forge and according to Gov. Wolfe we are schedule to go to GREEN around June 5,2020, so we are all keeping our fingers crossed. Rich Hartung Desoto1939@aol.com1 point

We used to have a luau every two years which all the dodge people were invited. Merle and Mark usually attended. We now moved to every 4 years. This is the year of our luau. We are still tentatively planning it but stay tuned.1 point

The car was purchased new on 31st October 1938 from Newton King Ltd, the local Chrysler dealership. It cost NZ£449.0.0 - that's the equivalent of about US$898 and probably included some registration fees. I haven't found the original receipt etc but it may turn up in heaps of Grandfather's papers still on the property. I do have the original insurance company policy dated the same day recording the purchase price and vehicle identification numbers which confirm that it still has the original engine. Serial number from tag on door pillar is 3926960 and the engine number is DP6262847. So I presume it is the P6 motor with the D stamped in front to signify it as a Dodge allocated powertrain. I have read that there are Chrysler Corporation Build Cards out there somewhere that can give specific information about individual vehicles. Does anyone know how to access these? This week I hope to go to the local electroplaters and pick up some grille pieces. Will post some pics if this eventuates.1 point

Had a guy who used to work for me who drove a fairly new Toyota Tacoma pick up. We were talking one day as he was leaving, he said he was going to change the oil in the truck. I asked, Didn't you just change it two months ago? He said I do it every 1200 to 1500 miles. I said what do you do with it, he said his brother worked at Napa and he took it to the recycle barrel. I told him I would take it.He said ok. I didn't buy a bit of oil for my winter heater or lawn tractor/ mower, snowblower till he retired, and a couple years after.1 point
