Our 1957 Fargo D100! Built to be a driver and I tried to maintain as much originality as possible! The cab and front clip are as I found the truck (paint, bodywork, scratches etc.left untouched), the box that came with the truck was an unfinished amateur reproach to what resembled a box but needed way too much work to complete. The box on the truck is the correct style and was built using the original tailgate and front panel, with 1958 sides shortened 6 inches (8 foot sides but mine is originally a 7.5 foot box). I didn't pretty the box up too much as I wanted it to blend in with the rest of the truck. I did have to rebuild the front cab mounts but that was the only sheet metal work done to the cab and a couple small repairs were made to the rear of the inner front fenders. The mechanical end of the truck is all original and basically just gone through and resealed (thought the engine appears to have been rebuilt at some time as it has 0.30 oversized pistons in it). I rebuilt the carburetor, installed a new waterpump, fuel pump, new fuel tank and lines, tune up, resealed the rear diff, all fresh fluids and rebuilt the brakes complete including all new lines. The work was all done by myself with the exception of the resurfacing of the manifolds, everything else was done by me. It took me 3 years to get the truck to the way it is now but was also done on a very tight budget (which wasn't easy given that it's a one year only style) My Wife and I are really enjoying this old truck and in the 2 months we've had it on the road have so far logged 700 miles
