There is a ruler on the template to set the scale. 

OK, now I understand it.  Will see if my crappy printer is up to the taste.  Thank you

the picture of the rule shows the stated width of the metal at nearly 1/4 inch when it is stated to be 1/8 the drawing should be amended to show some annotated lengths and width.  Perhaps the drawing does print to scale but in the absence of the stated values one has no guarantee.
