Update Final preproduction prototype done!- "AoK - New Dual Carb intake for the USA flathead 6"

Well folks its back from the machine shop and for the last prototype before production it is awesome!

Here are a couple of pictures.. The intake is designed to be able to accommodate a linkage bar on the inside or outside of

the intake, as well as a casted section for truck usage, which will double as a spot for a serial number. We will try and early this

week get an eta on getting the 1st batch, as well as George will make up a set of linkage and we will try and get a shipping

price for anywhere in the USA. Shipping to other locations we will have to get the shipping estimate on a case by case basis.

Its been a long time coming folks, but it is ever so close !

Thanks for everyone's interest and patience!

Tim

At least one piece of good news today.  Tim's  1941 selling I couldn't come to say good news.  I agree with Fargos-Go-Far

beautiful piece of jewelry!

Let me know and I can paypal you as friends and family right now, or send you a check.  I would just like to

have 1 before labor day weekend if possible. If not when you can you can!  Excited to get one and my dearest

wife thinks it is a lot cheaper than the 1941 Plymouth anyways. What does she know??

Hi  Paul and Dave..  Paul.. your likely right on the shipping.. You can send the $75 and we will send you back any difference

or later this week we should have a shipping number  for either an intake or intake and linkeage... or the whole package.. I will send you a note directly..  Dave.. yes sir, the early bird got the worm, as George has sold more carbs so for this year than likely the last 3 years combined,  so he does a few to build up, but definitely we would be able to supply carbs for all the intakes we have interest in.  But for sure  your on the list for the 1st batch

Very nice!!!! Even though I'm running the "early" Nicson dual carb intake George sold me, like we discussed earlier, I definitely want 1 of these for a future project.

Cool.. yes that Nicson and the early carbs is an incredible set..  I have you marked down for serial #13 if I remember correctly... lol

Will let you know when they are finished and off to the machine shop for machining..  Then the big challenge being, what great project is going to be the deathbound  AoK intake holder ?

Tim -  I don't currently have a car to put it on although its too nice a piece of jewelry not to have!  I would like a triple for the Chrysler big block and the dual for the small block and linkage for both.  Fire me a message with the total damage and I will send you

a check.  I know this is an odd request, however is there a chance both you and George Jr would autograph them with a sharpie for me ?

Lol...  that is a 1st. No one has ever asked us to sign anything except a cheque!   We can definitely autograph them, or just have George autograph them, just whatever you like.  We will send you the shipping cost estimate early next week, although while

we can set aside the AoK triple and linkage for you right now, we will let you know when we get the 1st batch of intakes in our hands and on their way to be machined.  At that point, you can send us payment!   We just want to make sure we have the small block AoK dual intake in our hand before we get people sending payments !

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks again for your interest and as per your note question, lol  I can guarantee they will perform well on the wall.. lol.. Although

I cant guarantee your wife wont question why you paid all that money for wall hangers!

Well if you wanted to slide in a blank check I wouldn't say no,  but it is on the intakes that I would like signed,. My wife actually is ok with this purchase. She even thought they were cool and has been around the hobby long enough to know how hard it is to find

performance parts. We figure  if we don't use them our kids likely will. Both already have them on their Christmas list. 1 has a US 1948 Plymouth and the other a Canadian fargo pickup.

They are not getting these two, although we may be forced to consider more intakes for the kids.   That is the wifes call. She does the Christmas and other holiday shopping. Not my department !
