Door Question

Allan the stuff to try and remove is inside the door. I think its usually troublesome because people seem to grind that rivet off instead. My truck had them both ground off and my car the pass side too. There is an available hardware store item to nicely replace the rivet and then it unscrews if for some reason you need to pull a door again.

Thanx Ed, I'll be looking inside the door on my next run to the car. I didn't want to remove the rivet if I didn't have to.... (especially 4 times..) and if ever I'm not sure about something, I'll ask here since I'm sure its been done here before (in all possible ways) and I'll find the right way to do it here, before doing it myself.

grind the rivet..punch it out...the rubber is on the arm for sure..it is a cushion for the stop...the riveted stop is two peices that act like a blade relay and spring lock into place...this cannot be removed from the door unless your door clip is entirely ripped from your door inner panel.....
