Here is one of the photos I have a lot more on another site but cannot remember which one. It may be this site so I will look around and post a link. Yes as for the dash, they look awesome. I love the dash. I need new bumpers for my car though, they are creased and just too bad to fix...:(

Here is a link to my car when I first got it. Dirty, ugly and needs a bit of work but it's all there even if some of the parts cannot be used. At least I am able to take it off myself to remember how and where all the parts go back on at instead of one of those unfinished projects that I never was able to take apart so having a hard time putting it together. :P:Dhttp://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=1437

I didn't get near as much done this weekend as I would have liked. I spent most of the day stripping the 48 Dodge I'm parting out because I sold a bunch of stuff from it. Can't say no to $$$, that's the only way to keep this one going. I did get one side of the front floor patched and tacked in.

Oh man that looks nice. I need one of those very soon before I buy my sand blaster or else I wont be able to run the sand blaster on a small 20 gallon compressor. Which one is that and where did you get it? Looks nice!

I got it from a local farm supply store for $425. It's a Coleman 60 gallon, 3.5hp, 11.5 cfm@90psi. I had a little 20 gallon Coleman 5hp that I used for 15 years so I figured I'd stay with the same brand. The old one was still running but getting weak so I gave it to my son for his first compressor.

Nice, let us know how it works and lasts! I think I actually might have the same Coleman 20 gallon 5 HP. It's not 15 like I thought, it's 20 but it's on a job site right now so I dont know. I should know the brand in my head but do not. Heck, I wake up sometimes and cant even remember what day it is and I'm only 21!!!:D

I finished buttoning up the other rocker after work today; now I just have to weld the floor all the way around. Here's a shot of what's left of the 48 Dodge I'm parting out. Hmmmmm......anyone see another hotrod lurking in there somewhere?

I havent updated this in a while; I gave myself a fathers day present and put a few hours into the Plymouth. I had patch panels for behind the doors so I got the right side changed along with the inner support. It was nice to see some progress, it's been a while.

I picked up the 700 R4 transmission for the Plymouth from the shop; they built it with heavy duty internals, one of TCIs new constant pressure valve bodies, and a 2200 stall. he said it should be good for 500 hp which should be plenty. Next step is to redo the rack and pinion setup. I had a chassis shop look at it and tell me it wouldn't work the way I had it. They said it would have a bad bumpsteer problem so I went back to Fatman's Fabrications and got their mounts for a Cavalier rack. Then we can plumb the brake and fuel lines and get the drivetrain set in place. And clean off the 2" of dust, of course.

Hey guys, It's been a long time since I've been on here but I'm finally getting back to work on the Plymouth. I've been finishin another project for the last year but it's done so I decided to unbury the Plymouth and get it and the garage ready to resume. I took Monday off after working almost 80 hours last week and decided to hit the garage hard. 14 hours later its looking pretty good; I rolled the body and chassis out and blew off a ton of dust along with pulling everything away from the walls and sweeping and vacuuming up all the dust. Also hauled off a big load of more junk. It looks so much better and I think I'm ready to start getting back on this thing in a few weeks. Not much spare time around the holidays but at least it's clean and organized enough to be able to work.

Here we go; first real work in a year. I put a new inner and outer patch panel on the other side last year; now it's time for this side. Here's the old stuff cut out, new inner panel, and some rust inhibitor applied. Next we'll paint inside the panel and put the outer patch on.

Thanks! I used Rustoleum 3575 Rust-Reformer. I"ve been using it on rusty boiler pipe and chilled water lines before we paint them for several years and it's some pretty good stuff. It dries to a black finish and then you can paint over it.
