David You've joined me in the ranks of truck owners. There are a few 39-47 mopar trucks in here but you really should join our yahoo group too. 100s of truck owners in there! Maybe now I can pay you back for all the p15 questions you've answered for me.

Hi David, Is it drivible? Well if it isn't and you decide to have it picked up and bought to your house becareful what company you pick. Do not agree to pay any money a transportor until they give you a pick up date. I don't recall the company's name that I got hooked up with but three weeks later they couldn't tell me when they were going to make the pick up, when I canceled, they still charged me $ 200.00. I got their phone number off Ebay, I also got the one I used off Ebay, Nice looking truck by the way. Tony C

Yep, I've been looking at old Dodge flatbeds for awhile now. I own a few acres in the Tehachapi Mountains and feel like a good flatbed would be useful. This one is not currently running, however, my mechanic friend is hopeful we can get it running quickly barring a cracked block. I will check out the Yahoo group.

Thanks again.

David

Dave,

If you hav'nt got it shipped yet. Give this fellow a call. 605-999.4842. He lives in South Dakota. He delivers all over the USA. Had my 9 cars bought from New Jersey to North Carolina for a reasonable sume.

Hope this is some help for your shipping needs.

Just purchased a 46 Dodge 1-1/2 ton flatbed truck on ebay. Need to have it shipped from Nebraska to Santa Maria, CA. Any thoughts on affordable method?

david,

i like the truck. for shipping, i'd pick up a copy of hemming's motor news. you ought to be able to find an insured shipper to transport that from nebraska on an open trailer for around $1,000. when contacting shippers, be sure to mention that you don't need enclosed transportation, and that the truck is "dead". good luck, and enjoy it.
