Thank you all as a community for helping me out, I was banging my head against the wall trying to figure out if I wanted to just go 12v conversion or stick 6v and I'm glad there is a reliable 6v solution out there. 

 

Y'all know how to make someone feel welcome and I appreciate it!

We are just caretakers for these wonderful cars and trucks, although I converted to 12V many years ago all the wiring  was rewired for 6V [thicker gauge] so that if the next caretaker wanted to go with a stock restoration all they have to do is switch out a few leads and replace a few components. All stock components removed were carefully stored and labeled and boxed for the next owner.
