jjareckijr Posted July 31, 2019 Report Share Posted July 31, 2019 I have a 1949 1st Series Chrysler New Yorker with a window crank which has a broken tension spring for the flipper for the window crank. The handle stem is there in place and keeping the acrylic window handle flipper is becoming impossible when the tension spring is not holding the tension needed to keep the flipper from falling off. I have tried attaching fishing line on either side of the pin but with the movement of the handle the line falls off and then the flipper falls off.
