Engine ID help

Recommended Posts

I'm going to take a look at a 25" spitfire engine for sale next Saturday. Not much information besides photo. The throttle linkage makes me think it came out of a truck. Any info gleaned from the photo would be appreciated. Thinking that if it's a decent engine, I would rebuild at put into my B2B.

Thanks for the help.

It turned out be a 1952,  251. Still has good compression. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on it. I got it tucked away until I figure out what to do with it ?
