I need the bumper to bumper measurement of 1940 Dodge D40 standard wheelbase. And the width at the widest point . I am trying to decide if my car in a barn , in Tennessee will fit my enclosed trailer. If not I will need to rent a car carrier to get it to Florida from East Tennessee. Thanks

Welcome aboard from Sunny Sth Grafton, Australia......I have an Oz assembled D15 1940 Dodge but it uses the Oz body shell and Plymouth chassis, 2 " shorter than the D14......I checked the sales brochure I have and it lists the overall length of the Oz D14 at 196 inches on the 119" wheelbase, the width is not listed in the brochure nor in the John Lee Standard Catalog of Chrysler book...........I'll measure my car and get back asap.........Andy Douglas
