Reg Evans
I am hoping someone here can identify this speedo lens I have. It's marked 1942 Dodge Canadian. I can't find any dash photos of a '42 Canadian Dodge so I'm hoping someone here can confirm or deny it's label. Thanks, Reg

Frank Elder
How about a 1939 DeSoto.......Looks close.
Frank Elder
Reg, I'm going by my gut and saying its not a 42 Canadian Dodge simply because they are based on a plymouth dash and that is not a 42 plymouth glass. A 42 plymouth example.
Andydodge
Agree that its doesn't appear to be 1942 Dodge.........I looked online at a 1941 and 1942 US Dodges for sale on ebay and neither looked like the glass pictured by Reg, but being Canadian might be the trick..........lol........heres a better pic of my cars dash which whilst RHD is the same as the LHD 1940 US Dodges.......andyd
Reg Evans
Well here's a photo of my US 42 Dodge Speedometer glass and all the lettering is actually on a thin plastic embossed piece just behind the clear glass.
Young Ed
The 30 amp gauge instead of 35 is a sign that its a little earlier. I'd guess 37-39 year range

Reg Evans
Hey, I may have found it. It's most likely a 1939 Dodge. Anyone here have a '39 Dodge that can confirm this. THANKS GUYS !!!
Andydodge
Reg, I haven't a 39 Dodge but from that pic I'd be about 99.99% certain thats what it from........andyd
