Flatheadgasser Posted May 28, 2019 Report Share Posted May 28, 2019 Hi all trying to work out what rear axle ratio I have in my Dodge, there is numbers cast into the diff, have tried Google but can't find any information on it, The casting numbers are 663473-18 There is a square with a 6 and what looks like DD CD and on the other side on the snout there is a stamped 43 F. Plymouthy Adams Posted May 29, 2019 Report Share Posted May 29, 2019 on the axle carrier that bolt onto the housing, clean the very top of the carrier and there is a flat spot there, usually the ratio is expressed in tooth count here you may see something like 10/43 where you divide the smaller into the larger for the actual ratio.
