pflaming
Mine is a single speed motor. Correctly wired it is always ready to run. When the swirch is in off position, the motor is in park position. Learned that today. Why in park position, what does that mean.
casper50
wipers should be down at the bottom of the windshield.
pflaming
So then if the switch went to off off the wipers would stop at that place, park position then completes the cycle and the wipers "park" ! Interesting. TKS
dwpaulson@comcast.net
Any chance you can share how to correctly wire an Autolite wiper motor? Mine is a 1939 Dodge D11. I see three terminals labeled A, B, & C on the wiper switch, but there are no labels on the three terminals on the wiper motor. Please let me know which wires from the switch go to which terminals on the motor. Thanks! Dave
JBNeal
typically the switch terminals are Field, Battery, and Armature, and the wiring is similar to the wiring diagram I drew up awhile back...without supporting documentation, kinda sounds like the motor housing will need opening up for further investigation
