Bongopete Posted May 14, 2019 Report Share Posted May 14, 2019 Hey guys, I need help identifying what models of what I believe to be 1940 or 41 Plymouths are seen in the attached photographs. These are vehicles that the Army had bought for various duties but those seen here were taken in 1945 at the Trinity nuclear test. There are three photos here and I will send another afterwards. Andydodge Posted May 14, 2019 Report Share Posted May 14, 2019 Top pic is a 1940 Plymouth going by the tailights and the barely visible 2 horizontal stampings on the rear fender.....the car in the distance in pic #2 also appears to be a 1940 Plymouth altough its possible its a 1941 but the tailights in 1941 were a little longer and its hard to make out whether the distinctive 1941 stampings are in the lower rear of the front & rear fenders........andyd Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
