Bbdakota
I'm new to the forum but have gained lots of knowledge from reading on here. I just replaced my rearend and driveshaft in my 48 dodge 2dr sedan because I was not happy with the high rpm with the 4.10 gears, so I put in a 8-3/4 from a b-body, great fit if anyone wants to know. Figured I'd upgrade the driveshaft to u-joints while I was at it. So my question, is there any value in the stock rear or ball and truniuon driveshaft? I don't want them laying around my yard but hate to junk them.....I can't see any desire for them. Should I scraped them? Advertise them? Thanks! 55 Fargo
Why not advertise them and see. 4.11 great for an od or A833 OD or even a NWC T5 with .73 OD.
Adam H P15 D30
I tripped over my 3.91 rear axle for 2 years before I gave it away to the first taker. multiple posts for sale, multiple posts for free before I found a taker. Delivered it too... Adam 1
Bbdakota
Maybe I'll advertise it locally until after mopars at the battleship coming up soon.... I got a feeling if anyone is going to go through the trouble of changing the rearend, they gonna do the same thing I did, put a more modern one in there. PT81Jan
I would die to have a spare ball and trunnion laying around, since mine started making noises. Unfortunately high shipping and taxes will not allow to do so ... (But that`s the way it is) So the value depends on the personal demand, local availability and where in the world that person is located ... Example: pumpkin with 3.73 ration 350 $. Finally all fees incl. something around 1000 € (1130 $) Edited April 15, 2019 by PT81Jan

Bbdakota
I used a 8-3/4 from a 71-72 b body I believe. Spring perch 47.3 and flange width 62.
