New to forum. Question about Phillips Performance

Hi, I am new to this forum and are looking for information and comments from people that have used Phillips Performance parts on the engines. I have a '38 Dodge, powered with the 230ci (era approx 1954) sidevalve engine. I am looking at fitting speed/performance gear that was in keeping with the era of the car. I am looking at going "retro" rather than a full modern engine replant and the car just becomming another hot rod. Anyone used this gear or can suggest where I can source higher compression head, inlet and exhaust gear.

Thanks Dave:

Dave-

I tried to get ahold of Phillips periodically for about a year and a half. There was never any answer or machine, so I finally gave up. I haven't heard of anyone else getting anything there either in the 6 years I have been working on my car.

On my car's website, I have a suppliers list of the stuff that I used on my engine. It wasn't the least expensive route, but I wanted not only to improve the performance, but to achieve a period hop-up look and feel too. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Others here have done similar mods to their engines through various means, I'm sure they will chime in...

Pete

Yes, please post a picture of your 38 Dave. Is it a business coupe, sedan etc? Really like that yr's business coupes. By the way, your name sounds familier. Did you post on the old forum before or used to sell parts on ebay? I may be thinking of Bob Larson? or my memory is getting holes in it but your name really sounds familier. Thinking I may have purchased something from you in the past but dont quote me on that. :o
