Bingster
Getting ready to start my 1947 Desoto for the first time in about ten years. The engine has been readied for the event. Someone told me to get a plastic boat tank as a temporary fuel tank for the carb. It has something to do with the bulb on the hose line for priming, I think. Is there a better way? HotRodTractor
For temporary tanks I have an old lawn mower tank with a shut off valve that I hang off the hood or wherever above the carb and just let gravity do the work.
Plymouthy Adams
electric assist fuel pump inline...with cars not driven daily and the use of alcohol fuels and the advanced rate they seem to evaporate in an open system....you will benefit long down the road with this install
