Adventuredude
My son and I just picked up a Plymouth Savoy for a good price because it needs a main seal. Please give us some advice about how to do this job. Thank You
Adventuredude
I'm typing with a bandaid on my finger, it is a 1954 Plmouth Savoy.
wayfarer
...old car + bandaid.....sounds about right... The general procedure is outlined in a service manual. Edited February 11, 2019 by wayfarer
Plymouthy Adams
I don't do scans but here is a photo that may help...do not pay attention to penciled notes..that pertains to rear bearing shell...written replies will be few do to this would be a long typed answer for any person to reply in words...unless one wishes to scan a page.....this is my reply... pay close attention to the text outlined in the box.....it is there for a reason..... if you continue to work on your own car of this vintage, a repair manual is an asset that provides much info and special notes to protect you and the car/parts when wrenching.
