So when you shave the deck lid on your

Plymouth what do you do with the brake light lens?

Here's the stained glass window our daughter made

with mine. Reuse, repurpose, whatever. Just never

throw parts away!

We had a party line.  Had to listen for our specific ring.  Everyone else could listen in on your call too.  lol

Everyone else -could- (DID) listen in on your call too  our first phone was an 8 party line.....the ole Lafayette  exchange (LA or 52 numerically)

These are the things that this current generation will never experience.  In this time and age the kids could not handle the concept and how dare someone else be on the phone when they want to be on the phone so self centered the kids of today.  They has lost the concept of sharing.  The world is now focused around the ME and only ME world.

I grew up in the 50's and I do miss those years live was a sure lot simpler and so less complex.

Very nice, that is thoroughly awesome!  I've got a friend that does stained glass, that gives me all sorts of ideas.  Luckily, he's relatively easy to convince on new projects, just needs the idea, a couple beers, and maybe an "I bet you can't do it"...if he balks a little.
