Thanks & Regards David
Don Coatney
Nothing magical about the spring. Any hardware store should have one that will work.

The Dr is right... I also noticed a new assortment in the Help section. I am thinking of taking a closer look to see if the springs are made in the correct gage... They may have been carburetor springs also. If it's fruitful, I will let you know with a part #... .
vintage6t
Agree you should be able to find one off the shelf at the auto parts store. If not, my local True Value hardware store has a good selection of springs, so you might try one of those stores as well.
John Norlien
I might also suggest sources like McMaster -Carr
Plymouthy Adams
sometimes at a wrecking yard one can find a seat positioning lever return spring that would be appropriate for this application..
Flatie46
Mine was intact when I was working on this area of the car but it was almost worn in two. I took it to NAPA that had a shadow board their that matched up common springs. I guess I should have posted my info or made note but I didn't. Anyway hope this helps.
