I've had to install a couple of those in 1960 Crown Imperials in the last year.

Saw that someone has converted one of these to play 45s which gives a more reasonable price and selection of music for it. First saw one of these as a teen in a 50s era Ranchero that had been customized in the 60s alla Barris, the car was metal flake banana yellow....

They sure did, I saw one in a 1958 Chevrolet.  Not a accessory that is seen often.

I never had the pleasure of owning a car with a record player.  But my 1956 DeSoto had cool find and lots of power from the Hemi.  I should have NEVER sold that car...  Bummer...  It was a great car.
