However, being a truck motor it is gonna be around 7:1 compression and have small sodium filled valves. I just went through that with my 325 out of a truck. randy riley Posted March 18, 2019 Author Report Share Posted March 18, 2019 finally got around to opening up the truck motor. going to take some work, 2 cylinders have a lot of rust. mouse nest in the valley on the lifters. motor has no numbers stamped in the block. casting # is 1739429-4. heads are 1823129-1. has part of a tag that says it was a factory rebuilt unit. what motor is this?
