    I agree with Reg about YnZ harnesses. If you choose to go to 12V (which I did), you're in excellent shape!

Thanks for posting.  I will be asking same question soon.  Except I may try to change a few things including doing a 12v conversion then using reducer to step down to 6 v on features that are just better off a 6v (e.g. blower) Alternative is to stay 6 v and use an inverter to step up to 12v for a radio modification I would like to try.  Also may not be in budget this year but future step would include adding evaporator a/c which would likely call for 12v. Any opinions on most stable route?   Also any suggestions on something to read to help understanding principles and considerations to think about when working through these things?
